Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles - Preventative Community Action
Fundación Santa María de los Ángeles emerged as a project under the Pro Ayuda Foundation of PR, initially aiming to provide transitional housing and support services to abandoned adolescents lacking family support. Over time, the organization has evolved its services to address Puerto Rico’s largest social issues, including violence and crime, with preventative education and comprehensive care. Known for its psychological services programs and interactive workshops in schools, FSMA no longer operates as transitional housing but focuses on providing training workshops in childcare, parenting, and psychosocial well-being.
