FGA’s Scholarship Fund is managed by Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico.

“I cannot put into words my gratitude for the vote of confidence from the Gonzalo Aponte Family and the FCPR. Through this brief summary of my life, I can only express the monumental role that your selfless contribution to the youth of Puerto Rico has played in my life and that of my family. I assure you that, in the same way, your immense community work impacts many other lives.

The scholarship from the Gonzalo Aponte Foundation has been more than just supplementary help for my university studies. On many occasions it allowed me to have a safe place to study and time without financial worries, so I could participate in extracurricular activities of social, cultural and academic enrichment that helped me get to where I am today.”

"This is the first time I’ve applied for this type of scholarship. When I received the notification that I had been selected, I was incredibly excited—I couldn’t believe it. Thanks to the Foundation, this financial aid will help me cover some of my educational expenses.

I encourage students from my institution to seek out scholarship opportunities like this one. The application process was quite simple. This way, they’ll have the chance to benefit from these and other forms of financial assistance that we students need so much."
