Mar de Sueños was created as a sustainable fundraising model for Fundación Gonzalo Aponte, Inc., a registered PR-1101 non-profit founded by its namesake in 1972 as a platform to give back to the communities of Puerto Rico.
Now, four generations later, FGA continues its work in supporting education, arts & culture, environmental action, and humanitarian efforts across the island — thanks in part to the funds raised through Mar de Sueños.
